Key Topics:

  •  To kick things off, we'll dive into a puzzling incident at the Quantico Marine Corps Base. Two men, one on a U.S. terrorist watch list and freshly across our southern border, tried bluffing their way into the base. What's the deal with that? The media's cone of silence on this one is deafening, we'll rip that silence apart. Next up, the Biden administration drops the hammer on EcoHealth Alliance, yanking federal funds from the nonprofit swimming in the middle of the COVID-19 lab-leak controversy. Did their Wuhan-based experiments just get them in too deep? We're dishing all the deets.
  • Then, hold onto your hats because we have a Texas-sized twist in store. Governor Greg Abbott pardons an ex-Army sergeant locked up for shooting an armed protestor. Triggered conversations and heated opinions followed. We'll break down what led to this unprecedented pardon. We’ll close the episode with our keenly anticipated "Last Call - Money Matters," where your wallet meets the world. What do Red Lobster's woes signal for our pocketbooks? Red Lobster is waving goodbye to at least 48 of its branches. Tough times in the restaurant biz, but does their tale hint at a much bigger economic story? We’ll get into the meat of it. Top Story:   Alright, folks, diving straight into a story that’s got people talking—or not talking, as the case may be. We turn our attention to an incident that’s more hush-hush than a library in finals week. I’m talking about the story that pretty much only Potomac Local News, with its steadfast commitment to that local beat, seems willing to dig into. Here’s the lowdown: In the wee hours of May 3rd, two fellows driving a box truck rolled up to the gates of Quantico Marine Corps Base—with aspirations of crashing Amazon’s delivery scene, it seems—or so they claimed. But something about this delivery smelled fishier than a Red Lobster dumpster. Military police officers were skeptical of this supposedly Amazonian excursion, so they directed the pair to a secondary check area. And that’s when things got real: the driver hit the pedal heavy enough to start a metal band called 'Gas Against the Marines.'

As they say, though, you can’t BS a BS'er—or, in this case, the MPs. Quick action led to the slamming up of barriers, stopping the truck in its tracks—literally. The Marines slapped a trespassing charge on the wannabe intruders and handed them over to ICE. Kelly Sienkowski, the local reporter digging her heels into this saga, has pinned the story on the national radar faster than a cat on a hot tin roof. From what she’s gathered, using those fancy things called 'anonymous sources,' one of these gents hailed from Jordan, and had apparently waltzed his way across the southern border like it was a high school prom. Even more compelling, or troubling depending on your point of view, one of them is supposedly cozying up with names on the U.S. terrorist watch list.

The plot, dear listeners, thickens like gravy on Thanksgiving. The box truck duo weren't just a pair of confused delivery drivers who took a wrong turn — they were foreign nationals who had eyebrows raised so high th
